The Albeo Trio heads to Elgar’s Birthplace to perform for the West Midlands Branch of the Elgar Society, bringing an exciting set of works for flute, viola, and harp.

Centred around Elgar’s Chanson de matin and Chanson de nuit, the programme also features original English works for trio (Bax’s Elegiac Trio and Elizabeth Poston’s Trio), as well as arrangements of French classics (Chaminade’s Concertino and Ravel’s Le Tombeau de Couperin).
